WTF is this?!?
Real pops up a message box with some unintelligible gibberish: Unable to locate server. this server does not have a DNS entry. Please check the server name in the URL and try again.
rtsp://rm.z1.mii-streaming.net/media/pbs/quicktime_real/wnet/nature/octopus/sharkT1.rm
More information is available at the RealNetworks Technical Support Website The message also supplies a "more Info..." button that, of course, doesn't work. The WTF is for the protocol type: WTF is rtsp:? I'm by no means an internet demighod, but I ain't never heard of that one. (No wonder Large Giant Corp's DNS can't find the server....)

RTSP == Real Transport, or somesuch.
That's how Real Media files are streamed.

It's on YouTube if that helps non-Real folks.
Here's a [link|http://youtube.com/watch?v=olx9_MQbdSc|YouTube version], but without the commentary.

Ah, well...
...maybe it's the special 'John didn't turn the Amp on quick enough so he missed the commentary at the start' version, but I was sure the PBS version had a bit of 'blah blah blah that was a deadly mistake blah blah' at the start that wasn't in the YouTube version I linked to.
Never mind. Octopus eats shark. Film at 11.

I shipped her off to live with my ex. That way she is technically still my kid's dog, but I dont have to deal with her hair, her incessant barking, her neurosis, or her poop. Instant relief and minimal guilt.
