M16-A1 == Automatic Bursting Rifle (3 round bursts) and single round modes. Only a few minor changes makes it a an M16. M16-A2 == Automatic Bursting Rifle (3 round bursts) and single round modes. Making a few changes to parts makes it unusable as the gas routing was changed to prevent(well harder to modify) to full auto. Post #266,780 by folkert 9/5/06 8:26:17 PM Reply	M60 is a non-equip now a days. the SAW (Squad Automatic Weapon) is basically a gussied up M16 with exchangeable barrels and a myriad of mounts. And a dedicated operator. Cyclic rate of 3000 Rounds a minute, 5.56 rounds, means pretty universal.
