Search bug
A search for have at it in the "Search In Message Body" field gives a Zope error screen: Zope Error
Zope has encountered an error while publishing this resource.
Error Type: ProgrammingError Error Value: ERROR: Your query contained only stopword(s), ignored
Troubleshooting Suggestions
* The URL may be incorrect. * The parameters passed to this resource may be incorrect. * A resource that this resource relies on may be encountering an error.
For more detailed information about the error, please refer to the HTML source for this page.
If the error persists please contact the site maintainer. Thank you for your patience. Putting it in quotes doesn't help (I tried it on a lark). (I was searching using those terms because my recollection is that admin used them when he posted about the Java version of IWeThey.) Cheers, Scott.

"That's not a bug, it's a feature"
Indexing would be ridiculous if you didn't exclude common words. So the "low value" words are not indexed. Yeah, it's frustrating, but no one has figured out a way around it yet that doesn't involve Google-level hardware.

No, it's a bug
He should catch the error himself and put up an explanatory dialog, instead of letting the runtime catch it and kill processing.

Well sure, *that* part of it is a bug
Of course [link|/forums/render/content/show?contentid=106219|I called it a bug] the first time I hit it. Then [link|/forums/render/content/show?contentid=106231|I made the same point as you're making now] once Scott explained the issue. Quite a bit later [link|/forums/render/content/show?contentid=197028|I asked to have stopwords un-stopped]. It's apparently a non-trivial issue.

No, it's a *prototype*.
5 years of a prototype, yes, but a prototype nonetheless.

Hmm.
GoogleDesktopSearch seems to know how to do it.
But it's not a big deal. I can't find it with Google either. :-)
Cheers, Scott.

Re: Hmm.
I searched for it for awhile for you, but I can't seem to pull it up either.
Do you know any other major words used in the post besides Java?
Thanks
Brenda

Found it
It is mentioned in [link|/forums/render/content/show?contentid=156180|Post #156180] (towards the bottom of that post). Unfortunately, the machine it was being hosted on (Greg's "lord") is in limbo for the time being, for obvious reasons.
I am your Site Search deity. Bow before me.
Edit: Search terms, I believe, were "java iwethey" without the quotes, and posted by "admin"...

Weird
I saw that post, too, but it didn't have "have at it" in there anywhere.
I'm glad you found it. :)
