It's not "Ice Hockey", it's "Hockey", unless
you're a young woman wearing shorts chasing a ball around a field with sticks, in which case it's "Field Hockey". Or, if you've got a big knob on the end of said stick, in which case it's Golf, or if you've got a little net on the end of a club, when it's Lacrosse.
Did you know the French named it LaCrosse because the goal was to crucify the other team? Watch a competitive match sometime and you'll see what I mean...
As for football/soccer, I enjoy watching the games (and have caught quite a few, both at home and down at my local) but I find it hard to get all worked up about whether England beats Argentina or not.
