Can you just reverse the stove and sinks?
It looks like that would put the sinks right next to the other cabinet, then you could connect it in the corner.

That's a nice piece.
I don't really have room for it in the kitchen though. The only place it could go would stick out into the hallway. Of which I have two. One hallway only goes between the dining room and kitchen with a door to the rear stairs and my fridge in the middle of it. The other parallel hallway (they share a wall) leads off the living room into the rear of the unit towards bedroomland.

It folds up.
goes behind you at stove when cooking...folds and goes away when you're not.

That was sort of obvious from the pics.
Believe me, it won't fit my space. The hallway between kitchen and dining room is the problem. The edge of the sink is at the edge of the hallway wall as a sort of continuation of it. I'll try and get a pic that shows what I mean.

I know...my thinking was
that while it may cramp you a bit during cooking..if you set it up when needed in the corner by the drawers it would give you turn around access to your cutting block. It also looked like there was a space between the stove and the cabinets that it might fit in...but there wasn't a pic to show if it would fit in there.
Just a thought.

It might work.
That in-sink cutting board idea will do the same with less crowding though.

Except that I hate plastic cutting boards
They're hell on a knife's edge.

As Beep says, it's gas.
The gas line actually wraps the room. It comes out of the base board on the wall opposite the stove near the corner cabinet, runs along the floor to the back wall and then turns along the exterior wall under the cabinets and then makes one more bend to reach the stove on the inside wall. So I could move it anywhere along that line.
One thing I really want in this place is to move the sink under the windows. I could than put a dishwasher where it was with a counter above it for food prep right next to the stove. Getting the water lines and drain under the windows might be a pain. It's only three feet from the bathroom plumbing though.
All in all though, the kitchen works. I'll put up some pics soon of what it looks like now that I've got it cooking ready. There are still several small touches I want to make but I am easily able to put together relatively complex meals. I'm doing a scallops in champaigne sauce next week. Timing is critical for this one. I'll let you know how it goes.
