Pics are up
Sheesh. I registeered at wiki and then promptly forgot what password I used. My DSL service comes with some Yahoo stuff so I put the pics up there. Warning, some are over a Meg.

Nice
The kitchen looks a little light on coutner space, but I love the backspkash and rack over the stove and sinks. And the sunrooms are awesome.

counter space is quite limited.
Once I moved the stainless steel work table from the dining room back into the kitchen opposite the stove/sink where it belongs, it works out ok. Not great, but ok. I am finding it annoying not to have a space next to the sink for a dish rack.
The kitchen is the one room I want to remodel. I've got a friend who has been in the restaurant business for years who has offered to help with the design.
BTW, there is only one sunroom. Just two shots from different angles.

Can you just reverse the stove and sinks?
It looks like that would put the sinks right next to the other cabinet, then you could connect it in the corner.

That's a nice piece.
I don't really have room for it in the kitchen though. The only place it could go would stick out into the hallway. Of which I have two. One hallway only goes between the dining room and kitchen with a door to the rear stairs and my fridge in the middle of it. The other parallel hallway (they share a wall) leads off the living room into the rear of the unit towards bedroomland.

It folds up.
goes behind you at stove when cooking...folds and goes away when you're not.

That was sort of obvious from the pics.
Believe me, it won't fit my space. The hallway between kitchen and dining room is the problem. The edge of the sink is at the edge of the hallway wall as a sort of continuation of it. I'll try and get a pic that shows what I mean.

I know...my thinking was
that while it may cramp you a bit during cooking..if you set it up when needed in the corner by the drawers it would give you turn around access to your cutting block. It also looked like there was a space between the stove and the cabinets that it might fit in...but there wasn't a pic to show if it would fit in there.
Just a thought.

It might work.
That in-sink cutting board idea will do the same with less crowding though.

As Beep says, it's gas.
The gas line actually wraps the room. It comes out of the base board on the wall opposite the stove near the corner cabinet, runs along the floor to the back wall and then turns along the exterior wall under the cabinets and then makes one more bend to reach the stove on the inside wall. So I could move it anywhere along that line.
One thing I really want in this place is to move the sink under the windows. I could than put a dishwasher where it was with a counter above it for food prep right next to the stove. Getting the water lines and drain under the windows might be a pain. It's only three feet from the bathroom plumbing though.
All in all though, the kitchen works. I'll put up some pics soon of what it looks like now that I've got it cooking ready. There are still several small touches I want to make but I am easily able to put together relatively complex meals. I'm doing a scallops in champaigne sauce next week. Timing is critical for this one. I'll let you know how it goes.

Wow!
Your place is beautiful! Lots of architectual detail, beautiful windows, and your fire place is to die for! That place has character. I'm jealous. That is the kind of house I aspire to buy. Right now I live in a post WWII cookie cutter style bungalow. It's small and functional. But no pizazz. Your place has pizazz.

I just finished my first housewarming party today.
I figure if anyone from here wants to visit, thats a second, third or however many extra housewarmings I get to have. I don't think I could put up as many as beep can handle but if anyone wants to come for a visit the queen size futon is theirs. And I've got enough floor space for an air mattress or two.
Open invitation. Any IWETHEYer* finds the burning desire to visit Champaign, they got a place to stay. C'mon down, you can sample my wine collection.

More pics
This is a mix of pics from after getting moved in and mostly unpacked with a few from after my housewarming showing what it looks like with most of the furniture I'm going to end up with. Still need a dining room set. One of the pics shows a fat guy in a blue shirt. Guess who.

Question
What is that strange door that opens into more windows and waist-high wood flooring?
It also has pillows in the picture.

That is the wierdest closet I have ever seen.
It's right over the final landing on the stairway to my apt. Putting the "closet" floor at the same level as the rest of the floors would mean you would have to duckwalk past that final landing.
I'm thinking about renting it out to a grad student, thus the pillows. I could get a bed in there, it's got windows and a locking door. Just bring in a three story rope ladder, a hotplate and a bedpan and they're set.
