I Don't Like Spiders and Snakes.
What if we're not sure of the title, but we know the hook? Like this one for instance...
I don't know if we should be required to include the artist or not. My memory isn't that sharp, and some of us didn't work as a DJ and don't have 10^googleplex songs in our collection.
Is Google off limits?
Cheers, Scott. (Ray Stevens Jim Stafford)

Well I'm the Crawling King Snake
However you get the title is up to you. There's no way to keep you from googling save putting a camera over your shoulder.
I'll admit to having the obvious advantage of the DJ history and being a collector of recorded works in all forms...even though my library is currently a shadow of its former self, though I am in the process of rebuilding.
I'm ok with not having the artist...that would even make it harder for me in some cases..as I remember the songs often but have to think sometimes about the artist..especially some of those 60s and 70s 1 hit wonders stuff (like Boogie Oogy from the last thread)

I'm your Boogie Man
I dunno, Bill...I sorta like the idea of being allowed to use a hook, or even a non-obvious line of a song as a link to the previous on in the subthread. Associative memory is a terrible thing to waste...er, mind...er...you know...
I know...Put the song title (or something vaguely resembling it) in the post title, and then in the body, identify the linkage to the parent post something like [link|http://z.iwethey.org/forums/render/content/show?contentid=250401|this one]
Whacha think?
BTW, to keep from fouling on my first try, I had to change the tritle of the post. In this one, the linkage is the tag line "I'm a King size Boogie Man" (which is a play on the song's author's name, Albert King).

That's the Night that the Lights Went Out in Georgia
Can't recall who did it - one of those '60s-early '70s female Motown groups, perhaps, or someone who sounded like them. OK, now how does "The Man with the Child in his Eyes" relate to "I'm your Boogie Man"? That is a bit of a stretch! Well, we seem to get demerits if there's a repeat, and we seem to only be able to use song titles (ObLRPD: Who made up this stupid game anyway?), so it's getting more difficult to have a connection other than a word from the previous post. Like in this case. Otherwise, there's [link|http://gaffa.org/cloud/music/the_man_with_the_child_in_his_eyes.html|little if any connection]. :-) Cheers, Scott.
