New check frame and also check the upholstery
The difference between 60k and 6k can be seen in the condition of the drivers seat at very close inspection. A good trick is to swap the passenger and driver seats(if buckets.) check the pedals closely for wear. Lift everything removable from trunk and inspect the seams. Put it on a lift. ood Look sounds too good to be true! You have checked to see if it has been salvaged already?
thanx,
bill

New Ha! Hadn't thought about the title
since I haven't lived in CA for twenty years. California distinguishes between titles for completely new cars, and titles for rebuilds -- if the car's been salvaged and rebuilt, it will show on the title. I don't remember what the phraseology is like.

And yes, pulling the mats out of the flooring and trunk will reveal any ripples or bends in the floor panels and the places where the floor joins the wheel wells. Also see if the seams are all lying flat -- if the car's been seriously bent, there will be places where the seams don't quite completely meet, possibly including broken spot welds (though that's unlikely). Looking underneath is still better, though.

Ric

Considering that all you're risking is the $15 co-payment, there's no harm in giving him a shot at it.
