Have been
It's been rough. I'm pulled in too many different directions at once. In order to make good money at the clinic, I need to open all 40 hours per week up to seeing clients. I dont get paid for no-shows- most of my clients are state-funded and it's not allowed. With a caseload of resistant, court-ordered subtances abusers, my no-show rate can be as high as 50% some weeks. That's a lot of billable hours down the drain. I need to overschedule to cover the no-shows, but I cant do that because my opens hours are spent working for the disaster response company. And if we do get the new contract, he's gonna need someone there full-time. Our company is a 2 man show- him and me. If I go back with him full time I get to work from home again- which is a great help, but it's not so great in terms of the social isolation.
But again, I dont even know if we'll get the contract so I may be getting my panties in a bunch over nothing. Just gotta wait and see, I guess.

Choices, Choices
Why can't it ever be easier? I hope that the perfect set-up presents itself for you.
Things seem to be settling in, however, I'm getting over a nasty stomach virus that has been nagging me since last Wednesday. I though I was gonna die! The worst is over now. It's good to be alive!

I'm sick and tired of being a grown-up.
Wanna run off to Neverland with me?
Hope you feel better- didnt you have the stomach flu over Christmas? It's making the rounds out here again, too.

Which is it
Adulthood that is biological and growing up that psychological? or reversed?

True dat
I've abandoned hope of ever again getting up without making any strange noises, and would settle for being able to sit down without them.

Planeride to Neverland, tickets for 2!
I know what you mean. Sometimes being a grown up really sucks. Then you get a gift, like your oldest child doing something nice for his siblings. Miracles do happen.
Sending good thoughts your way. Keep looking up!
Hugs, Amy
