InfoWorld is at it again
www.infoworld.com/article/06/01/02/01FEtoydb_1.html?s=feature
I'm not going to feed their Google page rank by making that a link -- or using the key phrases. But they're saying that the latest version of the Beast's database server is the best. Ummm ... didn't it just come out? Has anyone had it up in production for more than a couple of months? How can you possibly claim it's the best?

Did you know that InfoWorld is a single woman?
Her full name is Miss InfoWorld.

Yes
We decided long ago that most of what's published at InfoWorld is indeed a myth. You can read more [link|http://twiki.iwethey.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/OurHistory|here].
Edit:
I reread that linked page and noted that a) it could use some refreshing (like links to pics from the last few beep bashes), and b) I'm still deeply affected by Ben Kosse's death. I didn't know the man well, only through here and met him once IRL on his journey to Raleigh. Perhaps it's because he's the first IWeTheyer that I met face to face and this community is an important part of my life. Anyway, remembering Ben and other missing IWeTheyers today. Would love to see those that are able come back - Addison Laurent, Craig Cottingham, Nick Petreley, DRL, Karsten...

Ah yesss.... 'Inclusion' dot net:
They began at the bottom; through diligence and innovation.. worked on down from that pinnacle.
They have found their [link|http://www.inclusion.net/| metier].
(But then, at one point they did have a single "\ufffd" near a page bottom which linked Hampster Dance. Nobody is all bad; well, there's Karl Rove; but at least eventually, there won't be.

Yathink it's the same ones?
That shit... I must admit I didn't look around too muh on that site, but I pretty much assumed(*) it was someone else who'd taken over the domain name.
Dunno whether that should lead us to think they've gone out of business altogether... Maybe just a name change? Or, of course, it could be them with the silly ringtones.
I'm happy to be able to tell you, quite honestly, I couldn't care the slightest whit less.
(*): Yeah, yeah, I know.
