New Since I really don't care, let's make it interesting
and have brother against brother. Giants - Colts.
A good friend will come and bail you out of jail ... but, a true friend will be sitting next to you saying, "Damn...that was fun!"
New Cowboys!!!
Ok, so they're out of the playoffs, but there's still the last regular season game. For the postseason, I'm for the Patriots - still the team to beat.
New nope if the kuhboys win tonight they are in

New All hope is lost
Cowboys win combined with Carolina or Warshington loss would've done it. Unfortunately, neither of the other two teams cooperated.

It's a sad day when I root for Philadelphia and they still lose - I feel so conflicted.
New Im glad of that, the Bucs can beat washington but not cowboy

New Da Bears will lose their first playoff game
since making the playoffs 4 years ago.

Their quarterback is basically a rookie (started what? 7 games in the last 2 seasons) so their offense is questionable at best. While their defense gets plenty of press, Brett Favre showed how to get 200 yards passing in the first half aginst it by doing short routes: 5 yards in the air, let your receivers get an additional 5 - 10 yards on the ground. He would have kept doing it if they hadn't fallen behind enough to require him to throw farther downfield, where the Bears secondary got lucky enough to prevent a last minute packer miracle.

"Chicago to my mind was the only place to be. ... I above all liked the city because it was filled with people all a-bustle, and the clatter of hooves and carriages, and with delivery wagons and drays and peddlers and the boom and clank of freight trains. And when those black clouds came sailing in from the west, pouring thunderstorms upon us so that you couldn't hear the cries or curses of humankind, I liked that best of all. Chicago could stand up to the worst God had to offer. I understood why it was built--a place for trade, of course, with railroads and ships and so on, but mostly to give all of us a magnitude of defiance that is not provided by one house on the plains. And the plains is where those storms come from." -- E.L. Doctorow

New It's going to be McLaren's season.
Expect Ferrari to raise their game, too, after a shit 2005 season; Schumacher showed that it is, actually, not possible to win grands prix on raw skill alone; you need the machinery. Williams are in dire need of results. The middle of the grid will be strong, with BAR, Sauber, RBR and Toyota all producing competent cars and drivers.

But at the end of the day, Raikkonen is just too good, as long as the team can give him a car that will last the race.

New I think so too
Though its hard to know from one yr to the next if Ferrari will have their cars dominant.

I wish the "middle of the pack" could get a bit faster. I'd like to see 4 or 5 teams compete (for once)...but it hasn't been that way for many moons...and isn't likely to change.

New The last 5% in F1 needs more $ than most teams have.

New Re: Okies, playoff time pick yer favs
NFC Week 1:
WSH at TB: Bucs are ridin' in a Cadillac.
CAR at NYG: G-men paste 'em.

NFC Week 2:
TB at CHI: It's January. In Chicago. On the Lake. Say no more.
NYG at SEA: Seattle picks apart sad linebacking corps made up of hitchhikers picked up along the way from Northern Jersey.

NFC Week 3:
CHI at SEA: Neither team knows what to do in this game, it's been so long. Pick 'em. Doesn't matter anyway.

AFC Week 1:
JAX at NE: Too cold in Taxachusetts for a team from Floriduh.
PIT at CIN: Cincy gets blinded by the bright lights of the playoffs, lose.

AFC Week 2:
NE at DEN: October 16: DEN wins 28-20. Same bat-teams, same bat-venue, same bat-outcome.
PIT at IND: Two words: Peyton Manning.

AFC Week 3:
DEN at IND: Jake Plummer throws 3 TDs, 0 INTs in stunning win over listless Colts, who STILL can't make it to the Super Bowl.

Super Bowl XL: CHI/SEA at DEN: BRONCOS WIN!
