New I personally find the whole febreze concept dubious at best
we're supposed to make our environment better for us by spraying some trade secret chemical into the air of our houses?

Edit: fixed tyop.

New Where'd you get that idea?
we're supposed to make our environment better for us by spraying some trade secret chemical into the air of our houses?
No.

We're supposed to make the coffers of Proctor and Gamble fatter by spraying some trade secret chemical into the air of our houses.

New The ones that kill me
are the weird waxy "air fresheners", that mostly just stink, and they have some chick waving one around in her son's closet, and the thing they mostly remind me of are these insecticide sticks you can get, except the insecticide smells better than the freaking air freshener. So after this chick has wafted some formaldehyde or some other some shit like that, the corner lifts up and this voice says "S C Johnson, a family company" to which I think "yeah, a mob family."

New Well, it does make a teenaged son's room smell better
Dear God, how his room can stink! the horror, the horror!

Peace,

New It has its uses
but they are not common. I've used the spray odor eliminator stuff to good effect on some boat cushions that were under a leaky hatch and had gotten time to get kind of funky. Dried them out and sprayed some of that stuff on them and they smell nice and neutral now.

So its not worthless, but I don't see it as a lifestyle either.
