...for a response from you along the lines of "Hmm, yeah, well, I wouldn't know about that -- I think you should give me a demo first, so I can make up my mind as to whether I agree, and what advice I should possibly give you."

If she's just an enthusiastic amateur without any professional experience, then she would obviously have to practice first. A lot. With a sympathetic audience of one, to critique and advise her...

Don't forget to tune the state specific lap-dances.
