Post #225,980 by hnick 9/22/05 3:37:08 PM Reply	I just upgraded to 5.1 under 2K It no longer plays some older video types, and it phones home incessantly. It used to phone home when you opened it. It still does and you can deny the connection without any problem. Now when you close it, it continues to call home and continues until you kill it with task manager. I removed it.

I had a working winamp, they pestered me to upgrade every time I ran the damn thing. After upgrading, it was broke. Remove and ignore forever. It's not my problem. I don't imagine that they care either.
