listen carefully, sharpton, dean sheehan Moore Franken aint gonna get it done. If you want a democrat in the whitehouse he has to be a voice of reason not a shrill venal sharpie. Note shrill is the part you DONT want but everyone here instinctively promotes. thanx. bill

Been telling everyone this...
...since the last election.
They don't want to or can't listen.
You see, these red-staters are "stupid people" (as referenced above) and/or a waste of good cognitive resources.
I'm sure the person you were talking to was a brain-dead zombie, right? Probably doesn't vote, right? No need to worry...

It would seem, therefore, that the three human impulses embodied in religion are fear, conceit, and hatred. The purpose of religion, one might say, is to give an air of respectibility to these passions. -- Bertrand Russell

Anybody that thinks the Berk is
the second coming of Lincoln (Abe, not our lincoln) or Christ (or, for that matter, the second coming of anything except his father), is hardly a "swing voter".
jb4 shrub●bish (Am., from shrub + rubbish, after the derisive name for America's 43 president; 2003) n. 1. a form of nonsensical political doubletalk wherein the speaker attempts to defend the indefensible by lying, obfuscation, or otherwise misstating the facts; GIBBERISH. 2. any of a collection of utterances from America's putative 43rd president. cf. BULLSHIT

She can swing on this.
Swing voter my ass. She compares Bush to Lincoln and thinks of herself as a swing voter? What a crying joke. I'm done trying to convince Bush worshippers of what a disastor he and his handlers are. Piss on 'em and their precious delusions.

they are quite comparable
2 presidents that used subterfuge to supress the rights of all americans. Insisting that DC will extend into the homes and governments without the consent of the governed. Both mismanaged a war badly.(have to wait and see if shrub screws up in Iraq as much as lincoln did with his troops)both were heavily disliked by a majority of americans and were contantly attacked even by members of their own party. lots of comparisons, if you be good I will do JFK and Reagan for you. thanx, bill
