My son uses it for all of his school work. A word processor isn't the sort of thing I'm going to sweat a long startup time over, since it's open a lot longer than that. I'm using Excel for Project Mgt at work until I finish the fancy Objective C/CLIPS based tool I'm building, otherwise, I don't need Office type suites so I can't get excited about something that takes a long time to start and consumes lots of memory. For spreadsheets at home I'm still using AppleWorks.
