New But he didn't name names.
The presss needs a senation, and the Bush-hating yahoos are always glad to oblige, but these things always fizzle. This one's [link|http://huffingtonstoast.com/336/i-am-rove-the-great-and-powerful/|already a joke].

And of course [link|http://huffingtonstoast.com/326/karl-rove-made-me-say-his-name-on-the-maclaughlin-group/|Mr. O'Donnell's] been a laughingstock for a while now.

Well, pardon us for winning the election.
New Utterly transparent
Rove's new 'I talked about it but I didn't name names' ranks up there with 'I didn't inhale' as a worthless and transparent defense.

Except of course that Clintons crime is just a minor offense at worse, while Rove's borders on treason.

New Technicality: "Wilson's Wife" is a pretty fair substitute
"Rove committed a firing offense. He leaked national security information as part of a fierce campaign to undermine Wilson, who had criticized the White House on the war on Iraq. Rove's overworked attorney, Robert Luskin, defends his client by arguing that Rove never revealed the name of Valerie Plame/Wilson to Cooper and that he only referred to her as Wilson's wife. This is not much of a defense. If Cooper or any other journalist had written that "Wilson's wife works for the CIA" -- without mentioning her name -- such a disclosure could have been expected to have the same effect as if her name had been used: Valerie Wilson would have been compromised, her anti-WMD work placed at risk, and national security potentially harmed. Either Rove knew that he was revealing an undercover officer to a reporter or he was identifying a CIA officer without bothering to check on her status and without considering the consequences of outing her. Take your pick: in both scenarios Rove is acting in a reckless and cavalier fashion, ignoring the national security interests of the nation to score a political point against a policy foe."

New The question may well reduce to,
Would (little '05-)Jesus ever fire one of his Apostles?

And since Repo-words use an entirely different dictionary; one daily revised by Rove - I have no idea if therein contained is the word wrong.

He who writes the dictionary.. and sends the kids to slaughter-for-Freedom -
New It's really a moot point.
iffn he does get convicted, get's immediate presidential pardon.
A good friend will come and bail you out of jail ... but, a true friend will be sitting next to you saying, "Damn...that was fun!"
New First, need to convict the president.

New President Cheney? <shudder>
New And his accomplices
which could easily involve incarcerating about half of Americans. This should pose no problem as those to be incarcerated are the ones most in agreement on this approach to law enforcement.

New Logic! _____what hath happened to thy sting..
New Else he gets an immediate pardon
I have come to believe that idealism without discipline is a quick road to disaster, while discipline without idealism is pointless. -- Aaron Ward (my brother)
New Ah yesss...
The beauty of simplistic military masturbation fantasies
(always.. Always attached to the blood&guts of that inexhaustible supply called, 'Others')
is that, the simple sophistries are so malleable and ductile -

You can stretch any one of the doggerel-pieces further than the mileage of a gold foil beater, when gilding the dome of some New penis-shaped Monument to Power The collateral-Dead.

ie
|You + My Gramma| = quite less than 0.01 |Mensch|, panicky model-airplane boy.
New I know who Marlowe is! parrot party line, check
more stupid than a pet rock, check, its Sean Hannity!

New :-) the part that clued me in was a rant about Rove
nothing illegal here followed by a "we should investigate the NY times for illegal acts" not publishing an un illegal fact. Made me think of you right away.

New Just goes to show how low Hannity will stoop
just to clutter up our little corner of the Universe. Wouldn't you think he'd have more important things to do? You know, like, sponsor a Young Republicans meeting or something?
