New Respect for life from Bush?
Isn't this the same President who, when he was Governer of Texas, signed large numbers of death warrants? Hasn't he invaded two countries? And blocks treaties on chemical and biological weapons?

I hope something similar doesn't happen in my country. The pro-lifers are becoming maniacal as it is.

This is the same President who, when as Governer, signed a bill that allows hospitals to pulls the plug on patients if the hospital feels that the treatment isn't helping (over the objections of the patient/legal guardian).

ie: In Terri's case, Michael wants to pull the plug. In Texas, even if Michael wanted to keep her alive, the hospital could override.
