A bit of historical review
A while back I posted this about an email I sent to the investors of a company.

2 month later, they fired her:

HA!
Looks like she's working the "Old Girl Network": [link|http://www.mentornet.net/Documents/Other/Bios/jmiller_bio.aspx|http://www.mentornet.../jmiller_bio.aspx]
And she just fell into a sweet position at Nokia: [link|http://www.nokia.com/nokia/0,,55653,00.html|http://www.nokia.com.../0,,55653,00.html]
Damn!

Time to send a letter to Nokia?

Nah
That's just mean. For all I know, she's changed her ways.

Uhh ... yeah
That's why she brags about bringing that product in on time.

The xEO status is inalienable
In theory, only private property is inalienable under capitalism. However, gadflies like this don't own anything except a resume and a network. It seems like "once a xEO, always an xEO". Much like nomenclatura. Sad.

Petaluma!
Huh.. I coulda put on my Air Force mess-dress uniform, hopped on the cycle and hand delivered your original screed. (Bringing along my Mad Hatter hat for the presentation, natch; beats a silly helmet thingie..)
The Hobbit-brunch (Petaluma has a few) -- on your nickel.
:-\ufffd
PS - Nice try. But presuming cuth in a bizness, here in the Faith-based years -- why, that's almost Pollyanna.
It's. All. ShowBiz!

But, That's the Problem!
And where I get mad. I had the same thing happen about 12-14 years ago. A VP decided to work us all to death to make the project dates.
He lied about the status of the project to get this bonus money. Then, when key deliverables were due, he was fired. With a half million in severence. Then, after he went through the half million, he shows up later as a VP at MCI.
That's where I lost track of him. But MCI went broke, and had very similar "ethics violations" to the ones that we had at AMRIS. It would not surprise me at all if he was involved.
Crooks are crooks. I'm just trying to figure out if all these people at the top are crooks, or just most of them. Forget the lawyers, we're shooting everyone who has an MBA.
My wife just found out that she's been shorted money in her paycheck at Tenet Healthcare. We're trying to find out why and how now and see what we can do about it.
