Let's see how this sounds. $1.1 billion in goods (with a small portion possibly set up in a foundation as cash) to 14,000 schools. Instead of giving the schools refurbished computers that will be painfully slow in running XP version software, why not split the $1.1 billion 14,000 ways and just give those schools each a lump sum check for $78,000? I bet it would be better received and do more good.
