I still believe that:
- Voting for Bush was both a foolish and morally bankrupt act
- Trying to be reasonable or 'gentle' with the neocon-artists and the neoconned is at best a waste of time and at worst makes the neocon opposition look weak
- I am justified in my disgust with the neoconned
- The neocons are severely damaging this nation, perhaps permanently
- That the neocons would cause the (abovementioned) damage was obvious
- the lack of morality, ability, and honesty of the neocons was also obvious
Playing the 'consensus builder' with
EVIL is almost as damaging to the US as supporting that evil in the first place. I will NOT ignore the lessons of Nazi Germany. Bowing to those bastards because they appear 'strong' and because they know how to use religious and jingoistic propaganda is
WRONG. Unless the passion against that evil is kept high, our citizens will adapt and accept that evil, and that will be a wound in our country that can NEVER be healed.

Nothing is as simple as it seems in the beginning, As hopeless as it seems in the middle, Or as finished as it seems in the end.
