Where do I sign up?
The Democrats need a good attack dog or two. Someone that isn't interested in higher office then congress, comes from a securly liberal area, and isn't afraid to look silly from time to time. They need to get out and hammer some of the issues that the Republicans have just been bowling the Democrats over on. Sounds like the job was written using my resume (just ask BeeP). So, where do I sign up?

Nope. Your guy was just elected in Illinois.
Clear, concise, well spoken, hyper-intelligent.
We'll see if it lasts with the party hierarchy.

Clear, concise, well spoken, hyper-intelligent != attack dog
Obama will play well to the intelligentsia of the party (which appears, according to other posts in this thread, to comprise some 95% of the total intelligentsia of the country, but I digress....)
Now, we need an Rovian attack dog to rouse the rabble, as it were.

Yes it does.
You have all of the other hate-mongers you need...trust me.
The Republicans couldn't have asked for better than they got from Michael Moore. What the Democrats need is someone who can cut through the rederick and clearly explain the alternative viewpoint.
I've been very impressed with his ability to do this in the past several weekend shows I've seen him on.

Or perhaps I wasn't. Been getting that one wrong since 4th grade. Damn phonetics.
