Gerrymandering...it's not just a good idea, it's the LAW!
Seriously, some of the districts are so badly gerrymandered, that they extend over several hundred linear miles. (I'm stll waiting for Tejas to have the first discontinuous congressional district.) And then there are states like Nothr Dakota or Montana, where the entire state gets a single Congresscritter. and Montana is HUGE!
