New I'll write one, once I get it working
I've been trying to get someone to write a review article of the Artem wireless for the VOICE Newsletter for almost 9 months now.

The NIC works fine under Windows with my [link|http://www.linksys.com/products/product.asp?prid=173&grid=19|Linksys Cable Modem Router]. The setup isn't as polished as the D-Link I was using before, but then again the D-Link doesn't have OS/2 drivers and we know which is more important :-)

I don't yet have PCMCIA support working under OS/2 on my i1452. It uses an O2 Micro OZ 6832/6833 controller. I'm not sure how much time I'll spend on the i1452 as I've ordered a T22 to replace it, however my dad might like PCMCIA support working on it when he gets my old laptop.

That would be great. I'm working on an article on my Cisco now. I'm not sure though how publically available IBM wants the Cisco drivers.

New It's working, but still fighting the Windows problem
I use windows for dial-up work support, so I need to get the Windows/DOS not booting problem solved before I give my dad my old laptop.

I'm hoping I'll be able to fix the problem this weekend with the help I've received from IWETHEY members.

New I take that back
The setup[for windows] isn't as polished as the D-Link I was using before

In the "control panel" I found the ComCard settings which let you have up to 4 preset configurations - very nice for switching between work, home and friend's wireless networks. The D-Link software didn't have this feature.

Also found a TOOLS directory on the Driver CD. This is installed seperately from the driver. It has a nice signal strength monitor and diagnostic program that I was missing from the D-Link. It also adds a small signal monitor to the start bar over by the clock.
