1. Um, leave well enough alone? Somehow these don't strike as the sort of people that would work with. Plus, it's a small world now. Much smaller than when the Muslims first set to conquer the non-Arab world in the 7th century. And it was obviously a bit too small even then.

2. Get rid of them? I've got moral qualms about genocide, even in this case.

3. Bribe them with food and medicine? No, that's meddling too. At least they see it that way.
