I'm on 28.8 k and it doesn't bother me.
Peter asked for some notice. adminiScott asked that he not repeat the same graphic. Has anyone else complained?
Much ado about nothing, IMHO.
Marlowe now puts his pictures in FQ to make things easier on others.
Would it also help if he put a "(image enclosed)" or similar in the Subject?
Ross had posted gigantic pictures without a whimper from the peanut gallery (that I recall).
I think the LRPD is right: "Powered by crabby patties."

I dislike Marlowe as much as the next guy. But it isn't worth bitching at him about this.
Your preferences already have this nice little dropdown for image display format. Ask it to display links to images, and Marlowe's images won't be inline.
Problem solved.

Its not my bandwidth we're talking about.
And as long as this is being hosted by members at their expense...I'll bitch about stupid wastes of fucking bandwidth all I fucking want.
I even said in that post...it doesn't affect me...its just annoying.
I seem to remember a sizeable portion of this group having the same problem with the idiots at ezboard and their huge, assenine sigs.

EzBoard was a different situation
Obscenely large signatures suck. Images that I don't have a choice about seeing likewise suck.
But this forum offers us the option of not seeing the images. And we aren't talking an annoying large signature.
Therefore I feel free to tell you that on this issue, using this forum software, your bitching sounds like pointless whining to me.

Bill, I think I have a cure for this...
Make sure that we pickup the Lord of Darkness in an M1-A1 Abrahms. Then, Get a really good Stout that he likes. Alot of them. We can then help him find the upstairs floor again. Maybe also renew those facial impressions fron the tabel again.
Only this time, I'll see if I can bring a Digital Camera.

I'd say that descriptor better fits you.
My reaction is a leftover from an attack of killer dweebs on prior forum software. I was told, and did, change the preference setting for myself and no longer even see them. (It would help if they were even remotely humorous, btw)
Maybe everyone else has as well and, if so, then I have no grounds to complain.
But you including me in your latter cast of characters...especially those from other worlds...well you've just gone looney, haven't you?
