That tape was found AFTER we invaded. I really expected better from you. Nor did we present that to them as "evidence". Well, we couldn't have because we didn't have it until AFTER we invaded. As stated before in other threads pashto culture could not have given up bin laden under any circumstances without destroying the talibans authority to rule. Now you switch to the "well, even if we HAD done it correctly, it wouldn't have mattered". Yes, that was stated before. But that does not make it a fact. It would have been very easy for them to have found some excuse to cut their ties to Osama in a way that would allow them to save face amongst their people. But we never gave them that chance, did we? We told them to give him up or we were going to come in and get him. Which put them in the position of giving him up and losing face for backing down from us or fighting us. They asked for a way out by demanding to see our evidence and we wouldn't even give them that.

I'm not the one with the problem with it. I'm the one putting these facts in a coherent timeline for you. Strange that you've managed to forget about it already. So, you say that the Taliban knew Osama was guilty.... And they asked us for our evidence that he was guilty.... And we didn't provide it.... Because the Taliban already knew Osama was guilty. Okaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay. I'm sure that makes sense to you. In some manner.
