Then you may be aware of how the prosecutions, child 'witness' programming.. were managed and later discredited, after a few dozen reputations and lives were liquidated. But some remain in custody despite these machinations. PBS' Frontline focusses upon two of the early stories, the role of Janet Reno and a bizarre "child psychologist" in one of the stories - which is ongoing. In the other case, the man was freed after 7 years in prison (IIRC). In the ongoing one, much is involved with the pressuring by Reno directly.. of the wife of the man still in person. Then there were visits to her native Honduras (after the wife was deported) of an Evangelist from Miami.. etc. - to get her to renege on her reversal of extorted trial testimony. Ex-husband remains in jail for another 150 years. Dunno if there's a full transcript linked elsewhere. Anyway - if you paid any attention to the phenom of mass hysteria + homo-sap desires for 'perfect prosecution records' before: here's the Other Shoe. ..and this all occurred BEFORE the Ashcroft Covenant and the trashing of the 4th Amendment. One has to consider how this-all might unfold today -- or if the accused were thought to be a 'Terrorist-suspect' ?? No I guess - one doesn't really Have to. Ashton

Wait, Reno was a Clinton appointee, right? Were you going for an "imagine how much worse Dubya's administration would have handled it" kind of thing? Seems when they don't have a real war handy, administrations have been inventing Wars On $something for a while now.
