I've got a Handspring Visor (Palm OS). I never use Grafitti. I punch in information using the software keyboard that comes with it.

The Treos from Handspring (GSM phone + PalmOS organizer) are out now and one version has a hardware keyboard.

AFAIK, the Blackberry only works with e-mail systems using Exchange (and maybe Notes). They seem expensive, to me, based on their capabilities. A USAToday story about it is [link|http://www.usatoday.com/life/cyber/ccarch/2002/05/08/baig.htm|here]. $499 + $40/month from VoiceStream.

I think it comes down to the service, coverage area, etc. Having a built-in keyboard shouldn't be an issue, IMO.

Cheers,
Scott.
