Appletalk is only used for older versions

OS 9 and above (including OS X) use AppleShare over TCP/IP. No Appletalk required. (This is the same stuff that netatalk uses, as far as I know. I'm a big fan of netatalk and I'm trying to convince our Graphic Design department to move from an NT 4 Server with SFM to a Linux box running netatalk.)
