I learned Wordstar on CP/M on that terminal. We also used it with a 300 based acoustic coupler to talk to "online" (compuserve) at the time. Piece of shit, but amazing at the time. Think about how hard doing electronica was in those days.

(As an amateur synth programmer myself, I know that some of the iconic sounds on Equinoxe are very difficult to re-create with recent synth hardware, requiring modulation links often not provided.)
