relative boonies of Alaska where some other company covers for them and would be lucky to get dial-up speed.

It's not that high speed is impossible up here. At the moment, and it's the first time in over two weeks, I'm "on the grid" in a campground with real Wi-Fi and pretty good speed. On the outskirts of Wassila, AK where Todd and Sarah are in the phone book. :)

New I have one of those as well.
Its been better than Comcast recently.

Mine is a USB760 and screems. I also have the external antenna for it, which helps in sub-optimal areas.
