Is Crossover Office an option?

Word 2000 is [link|http://www.codeweavers.com/compatibility/browse/name/?app_id=1|claimed to run fine on it].

Word 2000 is also reported to work fine with [link|http://appdb.winehq.org/appview.php?iVersionId=67|Edgy and Wine 0.9.33].
