And I now have flight details.
I'm arriving in Philadelphia on Delta Air Lines 1776 at 4:41 PM. (I'm guessing that I'll have to wait at the airport.)

I'm OK with whoever wants to pick me up, as long as they accept that I won't be immediately social.

Assumption correct
I had a choice, leave early and arrive early or leave at a decent hour, add several hours to the travel time, and arrive around 1 AM. I decided to leave early.
So I'll be getting in tired and hoping to hit Bill's and relax until the caravan pulls in.

Greg DEFINITELY doesn't drive that slowly.
Good thing he got rid of the Bravia, because I think my claw-marks still reside in that thing's dashboard from riding shotgun last year.
Drafting off someone else at 85 mph == not fun for the passenger.
PS: Greg, do you know that your "Check Engine Soon" light is on?

Speed good.
Speed with another vehicle less than a foot in front of you at 85mph bad. Especially when said driver is VERY likely pissed off at you for drafting like that.

I was trying to show you...
How drafting CAN have a great effect on mileage. Well, that and trying to see what your threshold for stun mode was. BTW, wasn't my piece: Passengers should be scared and not heard. At least it was something like that. My Bravada had transfer case problems. But going in a straight line was fine. We traded that puppy in on a Nice, Nice 2004 Mitsubishi Galant, with the V6 (260ish hp). Rides like a DREAM. Drives like a sports car. Get rather decent mileage compared to the Bravada, but not as good as my 2001 Mitsu Lancer. But, I am planning on Taking Friday off, so I'll prolly sleep in Scott's den, and get him to be ready 7-8AM (If I am lucky). Plus, I get a new toy this year when I get to his house!!! Yeah! So, if Bionerd thinks she can keep up...

Here's how we usually work it:
Greg shows up at my house in the wee hours of Friday morning (like, 6ish). (Or, he shows up the night before and sleeps in the den.)
Greg finally manages to get me moving and out the door 2 hours later. Then we drive to Drew's house and offend his wife, around noon usually.
After that it's pedal-down drafting through the mountains (with judicious rumble-strip usage and shrieking to keep Drew awake). Typically we stop for dinner outside Philly and hit Bill's around 8ish pm.
And since you don't care about the return trip...

If something changes between then and now, though, and I can ride out with you, I will surely let you know.

Oh come now...
You forget how Drill Instructors think. San Diego, where they issue Sunglasses, ya know. Eating Duck for dinner, as interpreted by a Drill Instructor is: - You stand Belly-Button-to-Asshole in line for Chow
- You get everything you want to eat.
- You walk to your location you will be sitting
- You Sit Down.
- You look at an smell the food, and only take a drink of your water.
- You stand up, grab your tray and water
- Proceed to the tray collection receptacle
- Dump the food you were to full to eat.
- Place the tray on the conveyor.
- Get back in formation
- When fully formed and the Drill Instructor comes out, you thank him to treating you to a Duck Meal
You Duck-in, You Duck-Out.

\\o <--- Me raising my hand.
Yeap. Eyezamgowing.
I guess, the Car-n-Rav-van will be doing a drive by in Cleveland.
This year, I'd like some non-green food this year, but don't tell Jen I said/typed that.
Also, I think I'll be Getting to Scott's on Thursday night. If its okay with him.
Friday moring 6AM leave time... err waking time, about 8AM leaving. And Yes Scott, I want one of those morning sandwich thingers at the Coffee shop.
And Drew, we gotta find someplace that sells that Jolt-Ultra stuff, again.

Could be a problem this year.
My work schedule for the last 6 months has been Tuesday thru Saturday and I'm not sure if I'll be able to take off for the 1st. If not, then I'd be there no earlier than 8 pm Saturday night. :(
Remains to be seen....

Regrets
I had a great time last year and wish I could make it again. Not in the cards with family, work and school. I'll send Bill the guitar tabs for the Green Acres Theme. Hope you all have a great time this year.
Greg, do us all a favor and install a web cam (cell based?) in your vehicle and show the world what it's like from a Michigander point of view on the roads... ;-O
Just a few thoughts,

Re: I'll miss your Catholic jokes
Ben, Just so you don't miss me...
Three men meet up on the deck of the rapidly sinking Titanic, a Lawyer, a Catholic Priest and a Social Worker.
They notice that there are only three seats left on the last lifeboat and there are three children standing nearby.
Social worker - "We should give these seats to the children". Lawyer - "Dont be stupid, fuck the children!" Catholic priest - "Do you really think we've got time"?
_______________________________________________________________________________
An atheist was taking a walk through the woods, admiring all that the "accident of evolution" had created. "What majestic trees! What powerful rivers! What beautiful animals!", he said to himself.
As he was walking alongside the river he heard a rustling in the bushes behind. As he turned to look, he saw a 7-foot grizzly charge towards him.
He ran as fast as he could up the path. He looked over his shoulder and saw that the bear was closing in on him. He tried to run even faster, so scared that tears were coming to his eyes. He looked over his shoulder again and the bear was even closer. His heart was pumping frantically as he tried to run even faster, but he tripped and fell on the ground. He rolled over to pick himself up and saw the bear right on top of him raising his paw to kill him.
At that instant he cried out "Oh my God!" Just then, time stopped. The bear froze, the forest was silent, the river even stopped moving.
A bright light shone upon the man, and a voice came out of the sky saying, "You deny my existence all of these years, teach others I don't exist and even credit my creation to a cosmic accident and now do you expect me to help you out of this predicament? Am I to count you as a believer?"
The atheist, ever prideful, looked into the light and said "it would be rather hypocritical to ask to be a Christian after all these years, but could you make the bear a Christian?"
"Very well", said the voice. As the light went out, the river ran, the sounds of the forest continued and the bear put his paw down.
The bear then brought both paws together, bowed his head and said, "Lord I thank you for this food which I am about to receive.
Just a few thoughts,
Danno

No, but he's contributed a lot of LRPDs
Plus he gave me a ride to the bash at considerable personal cost.
If rush shipping costs extra, I'll be glad to pay the difference.
