Welcome to IWETHEY!

New I can't.
I started to give as close to a binary, sound-bite summary of the point Ashton so eloquently made above, but I cannot do that to even that little slice of word art.

If, as you say, his prose is "unintelligible" to you, I might suggest that, with no offense intended, you pick up a classic or two - not a pdf or anything online, but actual printed, bound books and spend a weekend outside at the park, near a lake or some other quiet place of beauty and read them. It will lead to an appreciation, even perhaps a love, of flowery speech. HTH. ;0)
bcnu,
Mikem

It would seem, therefore, that the three human impulses embodied in religion are fear, conceit, and hatred. The purpose of religion, one might say, is to give an air of respectibility to these passions. -- Bertrand Russell
New If I think style is more important than content, hit me...
till I snap out of it. I hope you don't think I want some newspeak style language. I want Truth. To me, Truth is a form of Beauty. I do not recognise Ashton's messages as rich or flowery language, like Shakespeare. Rather, it is disjointed, avant garde art only understood by virtuosos.

So, give me that summary. You're doing a service to Beauty.
Matthew Greet

Choose Life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a fucking big television, choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players and electrical tin openers. Choose good health, low cholesterol, and dental insurance. Choose fixed interest mortgage repayments. Choose a starter home. Choose your friends. Choose leisurewear and matching luggage. Choose DIY and wondering who the fuck you are on a Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing, spirit-crushing game shows, stuffing fucking junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pishing your last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, fucked up brats you spawned to replace yourself. Choose your future. Choose life... But why would I want to do a thing like that? I chose not to choose life. I chose somethin' else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who needs reasons when you've got heroin?
- Mark Renton, Trainspotting.
New Here's a summary I think you'll really like.

That better?

New Tosh
Sometimes it's flowery prose, and sometimes (as in this instance) it's blithering nonsense.

Incomprehensible gobbledygook than within the phrasings of, say,
just one random fav Selection on *your* 2-kbytes-free i-Pod?

Methinks selective diss-onance lies within the ego-conditioned-ear of the beholder.
(And I'll parry any thrusts of that dull epee, re WDYHASM? too, if'n ya wants that selection) -
O Scepter-sheltered sniggerer; I gots more dirt on Genus execrabilis Yankus than the entire bats + web-encrusted ceiling of Dirty Dick's in Westminster ;-)
