New We had that debate circa 1990 in Alaska
to try to create a State License to practice IT. Some thought a degree was required, others thought certs I thought grandfather in existing practitioners and the issue apprenticeships with crosslicencing with other states. There was too much that no one could agree on. It is a crapshoot.
