Welcome to IWETHEY!

New Picture IS worth 1024 words
Thanks Peter. Your picture shows the way I had imagnined setting up my system (see [link|http://z.iwethey.org/forums/render/content/show?contentid=201240|here]). I also note that you are using a 10.x.x.x address, which is a) different from the 192.168.x.x schemes that everyone else who posted here seems to want to use, and b) more to my liking (and experience).

Thanx!

shrub\ufffdbish (Am., from shrub + rubbish, after the derisive name for America's 43 president; 2003) n. 1. a form of nonsensical political doubletalk wherein the speaker attempts to defend the indefensible by lying, obfuscation, or otherwise misstating the facts; GIBBERISH. 2. any of a collection of utterances from America's putative 43rd president. cf. New The reason I use a 10 address?
Less typing and it looks nicer.

New Personally, I always us 192.168.200.n . . .
. . and a router (gateway) address of .97 or .98. This lets me tell at a glance whether I set it up or someone else did.
