But to put sarcasm aside - PIM? Do you really *need* a computer to manage personal information? (BTW isn't all information personal to you?) Email could be - once was - a valuable thing. Scope cancer destroyed the idea of useful electronic communication.
I hated Lookout from the first minute. I once was a "key player" (oh God how sickening is the yuppie lexicon) in "migrating" 40000 "users" from CC:Mail to Lookout. We accomplished it at great expense and labor - and the end result was - MOTS. Nothing was really done, nothing accomplished. It was a Waste of Time, Effort, Money, and Spirit.
Computers in corporate life are crutches for crippled management strategy. Outlook, Groupwise, Wiseass, NotUs Motes, etc. etc. etc. Ximpleton etc. etc. etc. are the sponge rubber on that crutch that fits nicely under the corporate armpit.
