Be sure to post what kind of hardware you want to run it on. Step 3: Select a recommended distro and make the individuals who recommended it your coaches. Put them on the hook for walking you through it. Post specific issues as you go. You will have a working linux distro within a week (probably in a day) with this approach. You just gotta adopt a coach and keep after him.
