This is how a company can downsize the blue collar workers for the mistakes that the white collar workers made. Someone has to take the blame, protect management from its own blunders. Actually I would have respected Bush more if he did take responsibility for the error and admitted that it was a mistake instead of just passing the buck. Those dead on that beach was the direct result of his order cancelling approved and promised aircover. Lying that caused unecessary death is exactly what we accuse Bush of doing, preceded by Kennedy, Nixon, Johnson, Clinton, Reagan leaving only Ford and Carter in the recent past. thanx, bill questions, help? Bay of Pigs was cubans and friends, no American troops except for aircover on the beach to get a foothold, no US troops involved. He betrayed those folks because of politics.
