Plus it's really obvious when shown on the white section in the middle. Hmm, actually the lighter section is LOTs of different light blues - interesting. I converted that one to have a transparent background so you can check out the difference it makes. Post #91,263 by a6l6e6x 3/24/03 11:24:46 PM Reply	Some comments. The black bar on top should be narrower so that the red buttons in the bar are more noticeable. The red buttons should be left aligned. I initially had trouble locating the Home button. It nay not hurt to also include Home with the "index" buttons. The "index" buttons along the right edge should be on the left edge instead (unless this for Hebrew or Arabic consumption :) ). The buttons on the bottom I find redundant and only adding to the "busyness". I like the color shift in the "self-referencing" index button. YMMV. Post #91,888 by qstephens 3/26/03 3:02:59 PM Reply	Re: Care to review my website? Looking at it as a pure user, it's not cr*p, but I don't rate it highly. As a prototype, it's a worthy effort. Fault: on the front page, you have two sets of identical buttons pointing at the same page. Redundancy is not good. Further, the vertical set is on the right, not the left. Possible solution: make UI consistent and eliminate redundancy. Investigate use of frames. Fault: I went into the Products page and immediately spotted the 'Check the XXX in red'. Your titles are red. Lesser fault: you need to consider those users who, for whatever reason (colourblind / mono screen / blind and using a reader / whatever) cannot tell that something is red. BTW Red/Green colourblindness is common. Possible solution: use a marker instead. Fault: buttons are at bottom of secondary pages. This wouldn't be a problem if I didn't have to scroll down, but I do. Possible solution: use frames (or a reasonable facsimile thereof) to have a consistent UI with major options across the top. qts
