Nuclear war???
The only way Israel would ever use nuclear weapons is if Israel is in turn attacked with WMD (as all the other nuclear powers have also stated), contrary to popular belief Israel is not involved in this war at all, and would prefer to sit on the sidelines and do nothing.
Are you saying that you believe Saddam has WMD and is ready to use them? If so why do you oppose war?

Re: Nuclear war???
Yep.
1. Scud hits Tel Aviv 2. Israel says "WMD! WMD! Terrorists!" 3. Nuke hits Baghdad/Basra
I oppose war because quite simply Iraq's problems are not going to be solved by destroying the country's infrastructure, killing large numbers of her population, making paupers of many more, and separating the ruling classes even further from their subjects.
This is what war does.
You want a war? Go in. Israel's a hell of a lot closer and hence has much smaller logistical issues.
Or would you rather that the US and UK do your dirty work for you whilst you get on with exterminating the Palestinians?

Unlikely scenario for a number of reasons
Israel right now has the best antimissile defense system around, the Arrow should be able to shoot down any scud that Iraq fires. Secondly, I don't think Saddam will have the chance to fire any scuds. Lastly, do you realy believe that he will fire a weapon of WMD at Israel, if you do then how can you be aginst getting rid of him?
As for Israel taking care of Saddam, the world owes Israel a debt of gratitude for destroying the nuclear reactor in 1981, otherwise Saddam would have had nuclear weapons by 1990, then hat would have happened?

Antimissile systems?
Even the best antimissile system in the world sucks all ass, bluke.
As a citizen of the UK, why would I want to get rid of a tinpot dictator who poses no real threat to my country?
In a perfect world, every country in the world would be ruled by kind, wise gentle people who acted only in the best interests of the nation.
In reality, the middle east is ruled by murderous thugs like Saddam, Arafat and Sharon.
My solution? Nuke the whole area from the Mediterranean to the Gulf into one big glassy sheet.

Actually not, only 2 out of 3
The Muslims have never really cared about Jerusalem unless some one else has it. In the 1800's Jerusalem was an absolute backwaters. From 1948-1967 not a single Arab leader visited Jerusalem and no one talked about it. Jerusalem is not even mentioned in the Koran. The Arabs wouldn't mind if it was wiped out, at least the Jews wouldn't have it. What they can't stand is the Jews contolling it.

Oh... it won't be Israel...
That throws the big one... Tactical Nukes are already in place... Tactical... I mean ones fired out of Artillery... small payload... but still very devistating but on a far smaller scale... I believe[1] the largest ones are around 500 Ton Yield... but those are usually used in Naval Artillery(really big bore ones at that) *IF* they ever get taken out of where they are stored on US Shores (maybe there are already). The ones I believe they have right now are about 125 Ton Yield[2]. So, I don't believe you'll see the *BIG* one get dropped... or sent over in a Missile... Just a few discretely[3] used Tacticals should appear...
[1] Heard from a few different Naval Artillery people I know... but that is their Guestimate. [2] Once again, a Guestimate taken from different articles discussing them over the years. [3] By discrete, I mean that *sarcastically*. Ain't no-such-thing as a Discrete Nuclear Explosion.
