Welcome to IWETHEY!

New Hi!
Ever get down south? As far as say Soulard?

Not really, cause I'm not too big on the city, but I know where it is. The farthest I think I go on my own to the city is toward where the old Arena was, and the St. Louis Zoo/Science Center area.

I only know one route into the main downtown area and back, but I try not to go there often cause the city HATES my car. ;) I drive a 1968 Plymouth Fury III. John has taken us downtown though, to Union station and stuff, so we know our way around. :)

It depends, how much do you want to meet? There was a rumor you would fix andrei for beer and a ride. ;)

I'm the American.

Hmmm the one on the left or the right?

Seriously, if you want to bring the thing down to my digs, I'm certain I can get it working. I've dealt with a lot of ATI issues :) - including on my own machine (Radeon 7500).

The 3D is just phenomenal on a good CRT - it's really too much for an LCD.

Well, I'll tell John, but he is a little wary about people we don't know, which is smart. But it would be a lot easier to ferry you here to the set up, I think. ;) Do you not drive?

Ahhhhhhh you lost me.... computer greek emerged. What is a CRT or LCD?

New Re: Too Bad
I have no car (don't want one).

Getting a 2-wheeler Real Soon Now.

CRT = "cathode ray tube" - a traditional monitor

LCD = "liquid crystal display" - a laptop screen

DFP = "digital flat panel" - a turbo performance LCD with a direct digital interface

Ah, well, maybe you can talk John through it, or we could call you or something, and you could help him. We can look at options.

He's gonna try again this weekend, using some of you guy's suggestions, plus we're still hoping to hear from ATI support.

Hmmmm John asked what all would have to come? I mean, wouldn't we have to bring the printer and the scanner and the monitor and ... well, what would we need?

Does that mean you wouldn't let us "ferry" you to the computer? ;)

John says we have a good CRT. :) Thanks for explaining what it was.

New Hey Desitter! ( was Re: Too Bad)
Hey there!

I've been gone all day, sorry, but you're all approved now on PA.

We had to check on my parent's house, run several errands, and I got to see my friend Greg in the hospital! He's out of the coma and talking and well, I am so relieved, he's gonna be okay!

Yep, and a large chair, and a large desk, and several IBM printers, and....

Nope, not a convertible though. A 2-door Commando V-8. Her name is Sapphire, and there is a picture of her on my Yahoo group. I don't know if there is anywhere to put a picture here besides my icon, and it's my Yahoo profile hooty owl. Oh, there are pictures of me there too. ;)

I LOVE my sweet baby car.
