Post #85,270 by cwbrenn 3/3/03 11:21:32 AM Reply	The nice thing about H&R is that for an extra 26$, you can buy a guarantee that if they screw up your taxes, they'll have to deal with the IRS. :) As far as taxes went this year, it wasn't nearly as painful as I thought it would be. Fortunately, while much of our income was not taxed (due to my unemployment), we didn't make nearly as much as we did last year, so the interest we were paying on our mortgage was a sizable enough deduction to make what we owe manageable. I read a couple of them and found (paraphrased) "If we made a mistake that cost you money, penalties or fines, we will be liable for an amount not to exceed the amount paid by you for our services".
