Post #82,317 by Ashton 2/17/03 8:54:50 PM Reply	Er wrong.. clear coats: H2O + grime = acids; pinholes, rust People who drive fancy cars in snow + salt areas DO go to self-carwashes and clean underside. How often == how picky. The smart/rich ones just use a beater in the winter and keep other one in unheated garage till spring. I hear. (Retaining new-car shine for long.. is a $B industry; some of the stuff is even rumored to Work)
