I've been eyeing the 17" iMac. I noticed it recently got a price drop AND a speed boost.

New Same thing happened to the..
...dual processor G4 machines...couple hundred extra without the monitor...but quite a performer.

New Plan to take the plunge this year
was going to use my tax refund for it but was just informed that the temporary pay cut is being reinstated:-(

Don't know all the details yet, but I do know our biggest customer had more layoffs and will be shutting down for a week in February and another week in March.

So, the iMac purchase gets delayed yet again. At the rate I'm going they'll be 21" running at 2GHz before I get one.
