Film bubbles at a fairly low temperature - no sign of bubbling or heat distortion. Even intact cassetts leak light and the edge of the film becomes light flashed over even a modest time.

The exposed part of the film would not be within the cassette anyway, but wrapped around the takeup spindle, exposed to light and quickly wiped with any fault with the camera body.
