No. Ask me about "Flash" at the office Friday sometime....

\r\n\r\n

I've been spending time cleaning up TWIT after Norm. I found a reference to the rubber hoses bit there going through the updates log. Tracked it down. Didn't have context. Was shooting other content, did it as well. Shot Greg a note (text: "Please don't do that"). Later noted the demonstration TWikIWeThey link in the above, prior to edits. Issue with TWiki being that a page not existing gives the option to generate a page. Requested that Scott change the link to something else (eg: FudFighters), also pointed out a couple of revisions he might want to make to his link-logic (hint: multiple webs support).

\r\n\r\n

No, Greg, I fucking love rubber hoses, come by some time & I'll demonstrate ;-) (actually, it's passibly ironic that a rubber hose comment lead to an iron fisted response...) TWIT's not topical about that, though, any more than it's Norm's personal pissing ground. The site is about technical documentation. And yes, topicality is going to steer editorial decisions. Timing in this instance was particularly bad, I'm more than mildly irked at Norm already, had a pissed off girlfriend last night (somebody was hours later than he'd hoped to be, what with work and more maintenace here), slept on the couch.

New I guess....
The point has been made...

Anything heavy handed in some circumstances can be bad...

And some people fight back... some wither... other yet shriek...

Some create Multiple Personalities...

I have very little sympathy/pity left for Norm, moral support never ending supply there for him... but that ain't what he wants...

As someone says:

Peace!

New Been there, done that.
Can be a hard lesson to learn. Can lose friends. :-(

Wade.

"Ah. One of the difficult questions."

New Actually, if you check the diffs ...
(Yeah, I checked the edit history. Ironic really, when you see what I'm about to say.)
Of course the obilgatory "This'll disappear, won't it?" to one of the [link|http://twiki.iwethey.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/DrewKime|TwikiAdmins], ...
If you check the [link|http://twiki.iwethey.org/twiki/bin/rdiff/Main/WhyDebianRocks|diffs] for [link|http://twiki.iwethey.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/WhyDebianRocks|WhyDebianRocks], you'll see that while I'm the one who pointed out that the comment would not in fact be deleted, it was [link|http://twiki.iwethey.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/PeterWhysall|some other TwikiAdmin] who deleted the prediction (an my response). Although any registered user would have been able to delete both.

This post has been broght to you by the word "pedant", and by the TWikiProtocol Wee Code.
