However, the electoral colleges wouldnt step outside their parties, would they? That's like letting Jerry Springer pick a candidate." Well you know what? More poeple watched Jerry Springer at his show's height than voted in the last election. And they watched for a half-hour every day. How much total time was spent by the electorate paying attention to the presidential compaign. Most washington insiders feel they should be running the government because we plebians havnt got a clue.
