Welcome to IWETHEY!

New I just want to add
That this has been, hands-down, that 2002 has been the most frustrating year, computer-wise, that I've ever had.

Worse than cooking my hard drives and losing a lot of old Help Desk strips back in my eZine days.

Worse than trying to put together my first PC and blowing out the fuses to two floors in the house.

Every single piece of electronic equipment I own has turned on me at least once this year. Even my Palm Pilot.

Damn it all. Damn it all to Hell.

New Obviously . . .
. . you let one get away with it. Now all the rest want to participate in the fun and good times.

It will probably take judicious application of a hammer or large rock to correct this. Be careful not to hurt yourself in the process, 'cause that would just encourage them. Keep in mind that hammers and large rocks, while relatively primitive, are also inanimate objects, thus not to be trusted).

New Sorry to hear that
can't you just call them up and see if they have a record of it? You did register the product with them, right? Serial number and all? Tell them the truth, that you lost the disk with the serial number on it.

New That's what I'm trying to do.
And, hopefully, it'll all work out ok. It's still really aggravating, though...
